Our goal is to create forms that will guide the individual in freedom and to an understanding of his/hers true self directed mission in the world and in the spirit.
CFAE first began as the “Friends of Anthroposophy” (FoA) back in 1982. The genesis for the nonprofit stemmed from its founders work in founding Rudolf Steiner Books in 1976; now the Rudolf Steiner Bookstore, and the Seattle Waldorf School in 1980. There goal was to establish organizations that would serve the community in understanding the full measure of what Anthroposophy had to offer.
10 years after FoA was formed and after establishing another Waldorf school and the offerings of dozens of Lectures, Workshops and Festivals, the board of FoA in 1992, decided to change its name to the Center for Anthroposophical Endeavors (CFAE) to better reflect its purpose and goals.
After 37 years CFAE is now expanding out into the world with world size goals, still in the establishment of organizations that can take on the issues of the time and demonstrate all of what Anthroposophy can offer, through the reverence of education in all things true and beautiful.
